On the 29th and 30th November depending on where in the world you are, there will be a New Moon in the constellation of Sagittarius.
Sagittarius encourages you to widen your horizons, to get out of your comfort zone and to see your life as an adventure with exciting possibilities in every moment.
The New Moon in Sagittarius is optimistic, adventurous and enthusiastic with big dreams for the future. This is the time to feel that life is a great adventure and to be enjoyed. Sagittarius is the most optimistic of all the signs of the zodiac so seeing the funny side of things would be most advantageous to you.
Sagittarius has a tendency to go over the top, but be aware your expectations aren’t unrealistic. This can be wonderful as it can be that extra boost to take time to experience new and exciting adventures and go beyond your limits. So, if that means you take a course to stretch your abilities to push you out of your comfort zone, then do it. This is the ideal time to start anew, to be in a positive space with a feeling of freedom and unlimited possibilities for the future.
Sagittarius is about wealth and abundance and to be grateful for what we have.
Here are some suggestions for good things to do during this New Moon in Sagittarius:
- Think BIG!
- Have an adventure
- Make plans for a big trip – after all Sagittarius is big on travel
- Tell the truth honestly and be open to the result
- Inspire others and have someone in your life who inspires you
- What is the passion you have within you? Let it out!
- Plan to travel
- Start a gratitude journal
- Be outrageous and seek new horizons
Just a word on the truth and Sagittarian energy – it can be brutal when truthful. Telling the truth does require being direct but just be aware of the other person. It’s important to speak your truth but be mindful of the other person.
Some positive traits of Sagittarians is kindness, their ability to think big and their brilliant sense of humour. Many funny people are Sagittarians such as Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, Joan Rivers and Betty White. There are also visionaries, those who think big, like Steven Spielberg and Walt Disney.
For those of you on days 10 and 11 of your cycle, today is a fantastic day to think about something you really want. Getting in touch with this vision and sharing it with the world helps you live up to your potential. These are the days to get out and have that adventure and experience the world.
Days 14 and 15 may be a bit of a challenge for you as your mood is unpredictable due to the ovulation process, and the fact that the feel-good hormone oestrogen drops just after ovulation. Some women have described this as being worse than PMS.
During days 25 to 28 feelings of anxiety and frustration will start to creep in due to the lead up to your period. You can feel overwhelmed, even irritated to the point of rage. Be aware of how you speak to others, being too direct. Emotions can swing like a pendulum and it can be confusing to others who don’t feel the depth of your emotions. This is the ideal time to get to the “truth” of your emotions and write them down. This process gives you clarity. A great resource and one of my favourite Sagittarians is Byron Katie.
It is recommended you take time to do meditation, look at your nutrition and what you are putting into your body and how it’s making you feel.
